Whenever I am ask why I do what I do or why not pursue my bachelor’s degree and work related to what I have gone to study for how many years, I always just smile and say “This is where I exactly find myself working with joy!” I am very confident and positive with what I do. Really? Why on earth would I won’t want a job that would allow me to be doing what I love doing and be with who I love to be with everyday? Being a virtual assistant has many challenges of its own and I am not saying it is a piece of cake but being able to live with all the benefits working from home is worth all the struggles if any. Here are some things I enjoy working online from home!

1. I get to work right from the comfort of my home

Working as a virtual assistant has a lot of advantages and one of which is you get to work at home. No need transportation, no need to rush and deal with traffics, and most importantly if you are a mom like me, you don’t have to leave your kids behind everyday for 8 to 10 hours a day. One of my favorite part of working at home is when my 1 year old comes to me at night while I am working and cuddle with me. It is such a precious time to be able to work while I can be with my kids.

2. I get to manage my time with family, household chores, and work.

I started working since 13 years old and was a working student in High school and in College. After those years I have work for some Company in my City too, spending about 8-10 hours a day, 6 days a week. The only time I have left during the week is Sunday which I go to Church and well..rest,have fun, and be with family but the sad part is that’s the only time I can do all the laundry and some other household chores that I was not able to do during the week because I was preoccupied working and being away for work. Thinking of those days makes me appreciate my work now, there is so much important things that I don’t have to leave behind while I am earning and those are the times that I spend quality time with my family specially with my kids. Working from home allows me to work in my own pace and allows me to manage my time well.

3. I have learned to put passion into work and value commitment towards my client

Working from home as a virtual assistant has offered me so many advantages and great benefits that have made me value what I do. It has taught me to deliver quality services to those that I work for. It’s definitely a satisfaction and privilege to know that the work you have offered has satisfied those that you work for!

If I were to choose again what kind of a job I would do, I would always choose this kind of job!

I was working part time as a virtual assistant back in my College years but had stopped for few years. Not being able to work for how many years had somehow made me lost some confidence to look for a new job that would actually fit with what I am looking for.Few months ago I have made a decision to join a virtual assistance coaching which I am very much grateful that I did. It was indeed a decision that had changed the course of my life. After I finished the coaching and learned some useful skills to work as virtual assistant I was hired and working long term with the client. I am working and earning right from the comfort of my home, and the bonus part is I can still manage my own small yet growing business at home. :) Thank you for reading my story and the things that have made my virtual assistance journey worthwhile.
